A downloadable game

A first release of this game was written in Basic in far 1989, entitled Space Chase. It was an attempt to program a vertical version of Scramble, which is still my favourite arcade game, and essentially inspired by Caverns of Mars for the Atari 800/XL/XE computers.

The title was taken from the popular italian clone of the original arcade game (back in the day I thought the original title was Explorer instead of Scramble).

In 2015 the code was totally rewritten and compiled with Boriel’s ZX BASIC, revisiting the graphics and bringing a longer professional look. Three years later, a physical cassette release was published by George Cropper‘s Bumfun Gaming.

The zip package includes:
- TZX & TAP files
- TXT & PDF instructions
- Inlay cover art

George Cropper throws false copyright strikes on Youtube. So glad he was removed from the platform.

Hi mate, the game was published by George's Bumfun Gaming, as mentioned in the presentation.

I know. He's someone who spouts hate speech. Why would you want to be associated with smoeone like that?

Personally I had a brief and positive experience, he published two of my programs on cassette.
I know he doesn't have a good reputation and I'm sorry, he's simply part of the circle of people connected to the world of retrogaming, apparently both for better and for worse.
I thank you for the report, surely it goes to weigh on the side of the scale against him. Anyway, here, I'd prefer comments more relevant to the software.

Well, I had to make my experience known. I'll leave it there, but everyone is warned against him.
